I picked up this No7 Skincare gift set in the January Sales when it was half price (originally £35). I probably wouldn't have picked this up for the full price as there are only 7 sample sized products. My reason for buying this was because I wanted the No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Serum which alone costs £23 for 30ml a Boots. This set cost £17.50 - good deal huh since there are a bunch of goodies too.
Included in this skincare set:
- No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Serum
- No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Cream SPF15
- No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Night Cream
- No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Cleaner
- No7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator
- No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Eye Cream
- No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner
Full size: £23 for 30ml
Previously reviewed this product before and I still love using this serum. It's great for sensitive and dry skin (possibly good for all skin types really) and I use this every morning before I apply my moisturiser/sunscreen. I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles yet (touch wood) so I can't say if this will reduce your fine lines (I'm guessing it won't) but it's a nice soothing serum that really keeps my skin feel healthy and smooth.
No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Cream SPF15 and Night Cream 25ml each
Full size: £23 (day) and £24 (night) for 50ml
I've tried samples of these before and they are ok for a simple moisturiser. The fancy name makes it sounds better than it actually is. I really don't like the fragrance this product has as it reminds of something an old lady would wear as a perfume. I hate skin care products that are not fragrance free! Luckily the scent doesn't linger after application. I like the day cream with its SPF15 and 5* UVA protection which is good enough for winter time but in the summer I probably would use a sunscreen.
I am baffled by why there is a £1 difference between the night and day cream. But I would not purchase this as the full sized products comes in jars. The tubes worked so well.
No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Cleaner 30ml
Full size: £8 for 200ml
Full size: £8 for 200ml
This is a nice cleanser if you find facial wipes are a bit harsh for your skin but it won't remove heavy makeup. I dot this product around my face and in circular motions I rub it in and then remove with a cotton pad or rinse with water. I normally use this in the morning. I probably won't buy this as I prefer to use a foamy cleanser as I find it removes my makeup more effectively.
This product comes with a pump in the full size.
No7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator 25ml (£8)
Full size: £8 for 75ml
I'm not a big fan of exfoliators so I wasn't excited about this one but it turned out to be one of my favourites from this pack. It was really creamy and not harsh at all which is what I need for my dry and sensitive skin. I couldn't detect a fragrance either so bonus!
No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Eye Cream
Full size: £16 for 15ml
Lovely moisturising eye cream that hydrated my eyes without causing any irritation. I love the tube it comes in and the full size is in a similar tube. I don't normally wear eye creams, only when my eyes feel extra dry because normally I don't find they do anything different and they're so expensive for the amount you get. Not sure why eye creams have to be more expensive than regular face creams?
Just realised I forgot to take a single shot of the Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner. No toner has ever amazed me, if it doesn't dry out my skin then it's fine. I'm not looking for anything with a toner except remove the last traces of makeup.
It was nice to try these products but I find that No7 is overpriced for what it is and would never purchase their products full priced when there are cheaper brands out there that are most of the time better. Boots currently have a 3 for 2 offer across their skincare ranges if you fancied picking any of these up.
