Last Super Liner from the new Loreal Paris range is this black marker, the Super Liner Blackbuster which is all over the magazines and tv adverts right now! It costs only £6.99 so very affordable.
The packaging like the other liners is in the sleek black with gold writing so seems more expensive than it actually is. The pen is thick so gives you an easy grip and good control. Again good for those who are starting out with liquid eyeliner.
From the swatch below (bottom three) you can create a thin line using the tip or a much thicker line too using the edge of the tip.
Compared to the other Super Liners this isn't as black as I'd like it to be but doesn't look too bad once on the eyes. I also like that it's a matte black and not too shiny. The marker is stiff so it's not easy to glide this like the Super Liner Perfect Slim. This means it'll take longer to draw the line on as it really hurts when you drag the pen across the lashline!
What I really like though is using the pen to create a nice even flick on both eyes. Sometimes when working with liquid liner it's hard to get it even on both sides for me. But I hold the tip to the corner or my eye and press down with the edge of the tip to create a nice triangle.
Overall this is a great pen for beginners but definitely not easy to glide across the eyelashes as shown in the adverts. Takes a bit of work to get the desired look. I was most excited about this liner but disappointed me the most as I was looking for a quick and easy application. Lasting power is just as good as the regular Super Liners - lasts all day but does require touch ups if you're looking for around 8 hours plus.
*Disclaimer: Products were sent to me from Loreal Paris to take part in their Super Liner Challenge. I was not specifically asked for review nor am I paid to review these. I'm a bit fan of the Super Liners and wanted to share my results.
